Live On Air, Lost In Thought - THE ESPO EXPERIENCE (Episode 6: Grand Theft Espo)

Gamers across the world have their calendars set for 2025, when the latest iteration of the Grand Theft Auto series is set to be released. I'm sure many of you are excited for it, but 2025 is still a long ways away; and thus, you'll bide your time as a law-abiding citizen of Los Santos until then.

Another thing I'm sure of is you've probably listened to every track on every radio station in the game since you started playing it. I know I have. At least 100 times over. And this game's soundtrack wasn't even their best work! That came in 2004, with GTA: San Andreas - a veritable Magna Carta of musical masterpieces.

The influence of GTA's music on my own tastes is painfully evident. Hell, a lot of video games for that matter - Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Fallout, Silent Hill, I can go on and on. I think it is an absolutely wonderful thing to expand your musical horizons, and any person who shames you for the medium in which you discover new music is nothing but a hater. Get that energy out of your life, and get some Espo energy instead.

While you wait for GTA Episode 6 to come out, now is a great time to check out The Espo Experience, Episode 6. Best of all, it's free of charge and always will be! (But if you want to buy me a steak dinner to show your appreciation, who am I to refuse?)

I'll let the Grove Street legend, Carl Johnson, introduce this week's music:

You don't need to follow the damn train, CJ - just follow my next show!

Failure to comply will result in a five-star wanted level, or, even worse - I'll disconnect your video game console. Can you imagine such horror? Such an act these days is tantamount to WAR...

...and what is that even good for these days?

For the answer to that, I leave you with a public service announcement from Mr. Edwin Starr.

Love,

Espo
